Is HoPetSit free?

Yes. The app is free to download for everyone. Owners pay per booking; sitters and walkers receive their full advertised rate.

How are payments handled?

Card payments are processed through a regulated payment provider. The funds are held until the service is delivered, then released to the provider's IBAN.

What if I need a refund?

If a service is cancelled before delivery, the owner is refunded automatically. Disputes after delivery are reviewed by our team within 5 business days.

Where is HoPetSit available?

Across the European Union, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway. Anyone in those countries can sign up as owner, sitter or walker.

How do I become a Top Sitter or Top Walker?

Complete at least 10 bookings with an average rating ≥ 4.7 stars. The badge unlocks a reduced 15% platform fee on every future booking.

What is PawFollow Family?

Add up to 5 family members to your PawFollow plan. Everyone follows your pet, the alerts and the live position on the same map — handy for spouses, grown-up kids or trusted friends.

How does live position sharing work?

Once a booking is paid, the owner can tap “Track my pet” in the chat. The walker or sitter accepts in one tap, and the position appears on the PawMap with the matching role halo (green / blue). Tracking stops automatically at the end of the booking and can be turned off anytime.
